Right now I am working on my garden. Thought I am gonna need a little help, so I went and got a used 757C back hoe. The first 3 hrs operating that back hoe was miserable at best, but towards the evening things looked much better and playing with the joystick's was like nothin special anymore. The jerky movement stoped and everthing was going smooth. I had cut some trees about 2 weeks ago and had the tree stumps left in my lawn and wet land. Anyway, I am quite surprised what a 757C can do. That tree stump in the pic, was growing in a swamp. Was hard digging as I found out pretty quick. Rocks around the roots and under the stump, like someone threw 20 tons of rock in a swamp hole and put a tree on top of it. Here is the pic!

Wow.. that's a huge root ball.. ( and a nice looking tractor ). How much reach does that hoe have.. looks smallish .. but that could be photo angle.. etc.

Whatever it is.. if it dug out that stump.. it's a very decent unit.

That is what I am saying that I am surprised what a 757C hoe can do. That back hoe is the smallest one you can put on a TC55DA. That was the only hoe, my dealer had in used (plus I knew the previous owner and he had it on a TC40D). Other than that I would have to go with a new hoe and twice as much money...

You know what.. i think you are better off with the small hoe. Hoe's put a huge stress on a tractor.. Such a small hoe like that won't tear your tractor up nearly as much. besides the fact that you probably got a price break on it being used.

Good job!
