Here is my newest addition, a 1950 Farmall H. Yes, you are allowed to laugh at it if you want to because it was only $500 and it runs great.

$500 and it runs sounds like a great deal, I just sold a 1948 8N for $2020. (It ran too)

Way to go Girl!! Now you can officially join the "I bleed Farmall Red!" club. Once question though: Where's the battery? I'm thinkin' it should be on the left side (side we are looking at) at the frame level. I'm also assuming its still 6Volt? You'll find that your "new" 25 HP tractor will outpull a whole lot of today's 40 HP tractors. How are the brakes??? You can find just about any part that you need at your Case IH dealer or on Ebay. Good luck! BobG in VA

What to laugh about, you got an excellent piece of yesteryears iron and a great price, it probably needs some work but most likely it has alot of life left in it for what you'll use it for.

It will still be running after some of the newer ones have stopped and the you can have the last laugh.

Sweeettt!! I love it. If I could find one for that price I wouldn't hesitate. Nostalgia, reliability, workmanship. It's great for so many reasons.

You can see the battery right under the gas tank. It has been converted to 12V. It is strapped in with a bungee cord so I should probably find a better method! There are a couple of minor things I will probably take care of right away. The steering wheel is so gooped up from sitting out in the sun that my hands get totally black in about 30 seconds. Looks like a new one is only $30, so I was glad to see that. The choke cable has been disconnected because it is rusted. So I have to move it by hand before I start it. Other than that, I can live with anything else. Amazingly all the gauges work. One front tire is a little weather checked, but the other looks almost new. Backs are pretty decent, which I was happy to see because those would be major bucks. I practiced driving it tonight and it is fun!
