Hi All,
Finally retired from the Army (26 Years) and moved back to good ole East Tennessee. New Years Eve my Dad and I went tractor Shopping. Took a lot of convincing but conviced him to buy a "CAB" tractor. After Mom got involved I think we both convinced him that Hay could be much more pleasent with an Air Conditioner/Heater and a Radio. After test driving a TN 70 DA around the owners lot for about 30 Minutes and playing with every one of the 16 gears Front and Back(Mechanical Reverser). He ended up Buying a TN 70 DA with a Bush Hog M336 Loader with "72" Bucket, Toothbar, Bale Spear.

I bought a 2003 TN65 with 148 Hours on it (Traded in on Cab Tractor) for my 30 Acres. I also got the Bush Hog M336 Loader and attachments as well. Having them add the Blue New holland Canopy for shade.

So we had a new tractor New Years and we both are really excited. Dad has 100 acres of Prime Farm land and I have 30 that borders his place. Both Tractors will be delivered next week. Must get Loaders in for both. I have included pictures from the dealership and will post more after the tractors are delivered. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I really believe that we both got the tractor that we "needed" and he still has access to my TN 65 if he still needs/wants the open canopy. I think after one hour in the Hay Field he will wonder why he had not done it sooner. He even smiled when he wrote the check!
First Picture is of my TN 65

Next Picture is of my two Tractor Angels. They are so excited to NOT be Army Brats no more. They were head over heels over Dad's New Tractor! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here is a Picture of Dad's Hoss TN 70 DA I think he is really going to like the Cab! Think one hour of use and he will never be on an open canopy again! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

All the Pictures I have for the moment. I have been a "Lurker" now for 2-3 years. Always enjoyed the pictures and GREAT IDEAS that folks have here on the site. Wanted to share my Highlight of my life. Will post work pictures next week after the Tractors arrive safe and sound at home. This has been my dream for many years in many foreign lands thinking of "Home" and things I wanted to do. Now it is becoming a reality and just as much fun as I thought it would be. Can't wait to put "Ole Blue" to work! Tennessee Style! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Think your Dad would adopt me? I sure could use a tractor with a cab in the Summer!

Congratulations to both of you and thank you for the 26 years of service to our country. I now it involved a lot of sacrifice for you and your family and welcome "home".

Wow what were you holding out for? Nice to see more new blood at the site, welcome aboard! Nice looking pair of New Holland's your family has there also. I'm kinda partial to the color blue myself and I really envy anyone with a heated and air conditioned cab.

Are the kid's bugging you to teach them to drive the TN yet? They will!

Hi skoalman. I searched TBN, Bush hog website & google for the spec's on your
Bush Hog M336 Loader but came up with zip.

Have any spec's on the loader? Why did you pass on the NH 32LC loader for the NH's? Thanks.

Pineridge, The Blond follows me everywhere I go and already wants to drive. Of course she always wants to ride, Dad's old MF 135 had a spot on the fender that I wore off 30 years ago and she is taking right after me. Makes me proud! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

onegreenday I noticed that I had made a TYPO and it is the BH 346 one of the new Mid Mount models they came out with this year. The reason that I went with the BH over the New Holland is 1. The BH loader is made in Jonesborough TN which is about 25 miles from me (Support Local Workers) and 2. The price difference was enough to buy all the Toothbar, Forks, QA and Fiberglass Top and I will get an aftermarket Grapple (Reading other posts) and still have a few dollars left over to get "Arm Rests" etc.... I had never had a FEL before so the BH is a major leap in Performance for me. Ability to move Round Bales is primary task and a reach of 120 " and a maximum lift capacity of 3500 lbs is plenty good enough for me. Will also do some work here in the yard. Going to rent a Backhoe and do some serious digging for the Landscape and the FEL will be mighty nice for the Clean up. Sorry about the TYPO guess I am just too excited! I know my Dad is too!

Not used to posting so Pineridge I tried to "Copy" your quote and use different Font Color. If it did not work out I'm sorry. I had to play around but learned that I had this wonderful program called Microsoft Picture Manager that came with Office 2003 and now that I have that down, Man watch out for the Action Photos once Tractor is delivered next week!

Thanks for all the nice comments, feel like a kid with his first car! Thank You all for the kind comments for my service. Was Infantry most of the time and loved every minute of it. Kids were so excited when I showed them their pictures on the web! So, I am sure there will be more "Posing" before all is said and done!
