Are you operating with the engine speed at above 3000 RPM? Increased engine speed = increased hydraulic flow.

The backhoe makes a great counterweight, and I think the FEL is pretty capable for a machine of this size.
I dont have BH. Just dont need it. I have BH on bigger tractor, but already few years it stays put.

now I am planning counterweight. I mean around 200 kg should do the job. BH is ~ 300 kg

Nope. As tractor is new, I don't turn motor above 2000 rpm
Maybe that's wrong, but I mean: rpm = flow = speed of hydraulics
At the end pressure should be the same, not so much relevant on rpm ?

That is how the theory works, but without flow you do not create pressure. I fully understand the flow=speed and resistance to flow=pressure. Without flow, it will minimize resistance. When doing a pressure test the engine is to be set at rated engine speed, anything below that will have drastic differences.

There is no break in period for the engine, just a initial 50 hour service.

NICE tractor!
If you don't run the rpm's like 2500 up
don't expect the functions on the tractor
to work very good! example: your trying
to use your tractor like a little boy and he
can't do the job until he grows up! You
need more RPM"S that's what the tractor
is made for you are not going to hurt the
diesel engine with high RPM"S so you will
not be using very much fuel with the high
RPM"S but you will be able to work better
also without weight in the ass end filling the
bucket with put you up in the air, you get
a free lift in life not good!

Maybe should be a bit higher. Will see.

Good thing is, that light is very focused.

What lights did you upgrade to? They are definitely effective!

There are some break-in suggestions in the "Operation Manual" on page 8-2. Some of them make sense, but others are not really practical, like operating at low speeds for the first 50 hours, and avoiding heavy operations. I didn't have 50 hours of light work to do. Then the manual states that you should use the break-in procedures for all tractors regardless of age "to prevent premature tractor breakages and accidents." Thanks a lot. Not why I bought the tractor.

Enjoy your new SA424!

I didn't bother with the breakin thing as you need
to run your tractor rpm's high its what it was made
for and the way they make engines now IMHO you
don't need a break in period as I have the regen system
and if I run low rpm's I would be regen'ing a LOT!
Tractors are made to work hard with high rpm's
AM I WRONG???????
