My new PJ 14K trailer

Here are a few pictures of my new PJ trailer I ordered. It is 96"x20', rated for 14K but, I registered it at 9990 GVW. Also you can see my sides that I built for hauling firewood.

Do you ever regret not getting a higher capacity? I'm looking at these now and can't decide if I should go higher than 7000 lbs.

Was your reason for derating the trailer to avoid CDL requirements? What is your payload with it rated for 9990#?

Also, I see you have PA tags. Howdy neighbor! What part of the state are you in? I am in Montgomery county.

Thanks guys the sides were quite a project. I had to do some planing on the rear piece. I derated it because over 10K is cdl territory and also requires combined registration. Legally I could haul around 6K lbs. I live in Lancaster County.
