After thinking about the fact that my wife and I only took the boat out 5 times last year we decided to sell it. After only two days on Ebay it sold!

Last year we took my mother's motorhome on a short trip and loved it....we got the camping/rv bug!

So we took the boat money and bought a new 2010 Keystone Laredo 318rl. We just got it home and are taking the first trip soon. I thought I would share some pics of as we're really proud of it and can't for the maiden voyage!

Some inside pictures, we love the 3 slide outs and the room it gives in the living room area.

Our Duramax Silverado pulled it great and I was really happy how things handled. Since I already had a B&W turnover gooseneck hitch I bought the B&W "Companion" 5th wheel hitch that slides right in place of the gooseneck ball. It's pretty slick and works great!

Very Nice rig!

we picked up a 27' tt 2 years ago,
and really enjoy kicking back at an
RV park with it.

although that is a much larger, and roomier
camper!

nice!

Many, if not most, of us started small and worked our way up with RVs, but you're starting out with a really nice, big one. A very nice rig.

Congratulations! Your story sounds familar. We too bought a boat and used in very little. We sold it and bought a used travel trailer and really use it. We take it to beach, local state park and it spends a lot of time on our land many miles away. It is our home away from home.

so it transfers the weight to the frame mounted 5th wheel hitch?

cause it seems to have some thick steel landing gear sitting in the bed of the truck?
