Nice looking rig!

That bucket is great, that would come in real handy around here.

Great looking rig all around. Some serious looking rear tires and that rear blade is monster. Who makes that rear blade??

That's a real nice setup. Those sure are some aggressive rear tires. I was shocked when I saw that rear blade. Talk about heavy duty!:cool:

Thanks for the comments re our new tractor, the rear blade is around 25 years old and is made in australia- not sure what company as the lettering has faided in the sun, i will be doing it up soon to match the new tractor, the blade was used on our last tractor a Massy Ferguson TEF20 that i have just finished cleaning up- i will put a picture in of the old girl.
cheers

The tractor body looks pretty much the same as the new DK series and that loader must be the KL551 though there are no markings on it. I like the FEL lever and the buttons that must be an electric over hydraulic set up. Neat. And a rear view mirror! Nice tractor.

How wide is the 4n1?

HI Island Tractor,
the bucket is 61" wide (1550 mm) and the loader frame is an - AL43- made in korea hope this helps

Nice looking machine!

I like the rest of my American tractoring brethren am jealous of that back blade. That thing is obviously made to do some serious work. I like the scarifiers (if that's what they are) on the back of the mold board.

Good luck with your new machine. :)

Plan for an EX50 with loader and full cab next year.
Can you tell me is the loader function truly independant of the rear hydraulic valves.
i.e If you use rear hydraulic valves, loader does not move.
Thanks and enjoy your new machine.

I cannot imagine why there would be any connection between the rear remote and the loader valves. I am not sure but the EX50 looks pretty close in size and style to my DK40se. If that is the case then there is no connection between the FEL ciruit and the rear remotes for sure. If you are using the rear remotes to control the 4n1 then obviously there is a connection but only for the opening and closing of the 4n1 bucket.

i am not sure if you mean the 3PL or rear remotes, but if while i lift the 3PL i try and lift the load frame the 3PL will stop moving until i stop lifting the loader, it must have a demand valve that favours the loader over the 3PL, not sure what happens with the remotes as i only use them for blade tilt etc, if you like i can try it out for you ??
cheers

Thanks, that would be great.
I plan to pipe one of the rear remotes forward to the loader area to operate a grapple.
So I'll have the loader function on one lever, and operate the grapple with the rear remote lever.
Best wishes again with your new machine.

I checked it out tonight for you and the rear remote does stop when lifting the load frame ( same as for the 3PL ), i wouldnt think that would slow you up that much ?
cheers

XCAT, I really like that set up you have. The bucket looks like it will be one handy tool with many uses.
Do all the Koiti's come with white rims in your area???
Do you have alot of mud or loose soil where you live...those tires have some Nasty tread on them?

Looks cool though.
Wishing ya many happy hours.
