My new BX24

Look'n good. That machine will end up being your best tool and toy :D
Now the fun will be in coming up with new uses and getting/making implements to add to it.

One suggestion, I notice in your pic that the MMM lift links are down and this puts them in harms way when no MMM is mounted.
If you raise them all the wall then turn the depth gauge to "top" they'll stay up and out of the way until you need them. This will not effect the operation of the 3PH either.
Enjoy :D

 Thanks much...I don't use a MMM so would not have thought of it. I was thinking just adjusting depth guage would raise them, but I assume you mean I must manually raise them and then adjust the guaage up? Again, thanks for the tip. ..Harry

You may have to drop the backhoe off to raise the TPH, Then adjust the knob to the 'top' position. The TPH should always be in the full up position when the backhoe is on (per owners manual).

Nice picture of a nice tractor ;)

You can tell when a tractor is brand new when there are white stickers on the backhoe's bucket. :D Ohhh... shiny! Have fun and be safe!

Wow, good eye on the MMM bracket, Volfandt.

See, there is the proof that posting pictures is a must :D

Hi Welcome Hdudley!
You have a beautiful machine and I hope to get my own in a couple of years.
I console myself by making a list now of the projects I want to tackle and imagining in my mind how best to go about the job.
Ahhh...yessss.... the orange glow of satisfaction!

Well, I completed my first project, making a set of brush forks for my new BX24. Will paint tomorrow and use on Sat. If they work as well as they came out, I will be pleased. Putting Chain hooks on this weekend after I pull out first set of brush and hazlenut bush.

Nice job hd, can't wate to see how they attach to the bucket. Be shure to post a pix and tell us how well they work. On the Wallenstine Thumb thread some one suggested a backhoe brush with the thumb. That got me thinking it might work great on the nest of green briar that grow up and around the live oaks and evergreens I have around my place. Once you get it pulled out of the trees and keep the new shoots cut back to the ground, it will die out. But after a day pulling on those vines you look like some one stuffed you in a bag filled with cats.
