Bought this today. I've wanted one for years and eventually got one. Any suggestions what I can make?

That's just like asking what you can do with a tractor. Pretty much any thing you want with pipe and tubes. Since you live in the "houseboat paradise", how about getting some stainless steel tubing and make a boat rail?

Got any kids? How about bending up a frame for a slick looking go-cart. They would be in 7th heaven. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like your brick pavers. Did you install them?

A Roo-Guard (front grill guard) for your car/truck.

How about bending things just for the heck of it? You gotta know the limits. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Btw, how's the houseboat coming? I was gonna see if there were any updates on your website after reading CajunRider's post, but your site isn't working. I get the message "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have fixed my website now, there has not been any houseboat updates for a while, but i will do some in a week or so.

No young kids.

you are not allowed to make your own roo bars any more.

Bob would that be a never ending circle

Was this law sponsored by the Australian National Roo-Bar Manufacturer's Association?

This is a crowd of drivers I want to stay away from /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

From the "Smart Bar" roo bar testimonials:

Les Ornsby transport
I chose the Smartbar firstly because it was $800 cheaper than the aluminium bar. Secondly, I had spoken to several night delivery drivers who regularly hit livestock and roos, and they swore by them. After my experience with Smartbar I will be fitting them to all my vehicles and would recommend it to all road users. - Les Ornsby - Proprietor

Yep, Vin I need 10 pieces of bent pipe for my garage, see attachment. After you make them just jump in your house boat, head for the Gulf of Mexico, look for the sign that says Galveston, stay a little east and head up the Houston ship channel and I meet you by the turning basin. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm back on line computer glitch the last few days.

Robert,

Here in oz truckies don't stop for animals (maybe cattle excluded) they go straight through them, especially roos.

Don,

When I come to the USA in about 3 years i will bring those pipes with me so I hope you are not in a hurry

John, that would be a fun job, but there's only one bend in the whole project. I get the impression that Vin wants to make lots of bends. Maybe he could make a dozen and give them to all his tractor buddies for Christmas. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif What d'ya say, Vin? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ...ole buddy. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I honestly suggest you sell it and put money down on a JD2 tubing bender.
Most guys learn to HATE that tool, it is a pipe bender for very simple bends
like electrical conduit. You will see....

JD2 = JD Squared = CLICK HERE

Remember, you ask'd bloke.

txdon, I believe you need tube "rolled" not bent.
Harbor Freight has a tubing roller and Troy at Swag Offroad made it cool.
You can do that project easily txdon...providing the radii are symetrical.
