My New 4510

Hi Everyone,

Well on Saturday is was test drive time.
First the JD4510 and then the NH TC40 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
The NH dealer and I must have had some wires crossed because he was quoting me a TC 40 and not the TC 40D /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Well after doing some test driving and playing around in the lots, it came down to $$$$ and who was going to deal.

NH didn't want to deal /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

John Deere on the other hand didn't want me to buy a NH, they ended up giving me the 4510 with the FEL, loaded R4's and a 7' back blade for $21K. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll taked delivery next weekend and get some pictures in.

Funny, I was set on a New Holland. But onced I got the Deere bug it didn;t go away!!! Glad you gotta good deal!

I am curious. You wanted a 40D (which is Hydro, isn't it?) but the Deere isn't. Did you get the reverser or std. shift?

I was informed over the phone by the NH salesman that they were adding the D with all models due to the demand, but no I didn't want the Hydro.( and it wasn't the D model when I took her for a ride) /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

congrats on the new tractor and I think you will love that 4510. I have a 4610 with the power reverser and like it very much. Always nice to see more green around here.

As for me, I didn't discover TBN until nearly a year after purchasing my new tractor, and I'm sorry I didn't learn of the site sooner. While I would have still purchased the same tractor, I would have enjoyed learning all the information posted here. There has NEVER been a time I logged onto TBN without discovering something new. It's become so addictive I actually get upset when when Internet Explorer will not let me access the site.

Thanks Garry! Not really a stranger though. I try squeezing in at least 5 minutes each evening to quickly browse the forums to see what's new and exciting. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gifI just don't seem to have the 1-2 hours I used to have each day to properly give you folks a piece or two of my mind. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gifHope this changes in the future.
