First I would like to thank all who have posted ideas on garden bedders, this gave me a lot of ideas to work with. Here is what I came up with.
Got a 1 row cultivator from TSC. Each spring shank has 2 hole positions, with all moved to inner spacing it fits my rear tread width very nice and found it works great to go a little deeper than the tiller can to loosen soil. Then removed the inner 2 shanks and installed Middlebuster shovels on the 2 middle shanks. This gives me a raised bed about 6 '' high and 6' wide. Treid it last night before the rain came. Today I added a piece of 1 1/4" conduit in the center to mark my rows for seed.
After planting I can remove the row marker and use as is for cultivating then when plants get taller reinstall original teeth and shanks to hit it 1 more time before everything gets too tall to for tractor to clear.
Biggest investment was the cultivator @ $250 which needed anyway. The extra Middlebuster shovel @ $24, borrowed the other one from Middlebuster I already had.

I like your idea. I'm also thinking if a subsoiler point on just one tine can do any good. Maybe adding some weight. I also have a one row cultivator but don't use it much. With your idea I can have a furrower or bedder and maybe a cheap subsoiler for for about $35 with parts from Agrisupply. Thanks. I wish I were smart enough to think of things like that.
