my mahindra Emax22 turns over wont run

I have been working on my tractor for 2 months now every chance I get. I have replaced parts but still no luck. I have checked the seat safety switch and the trans safety switch and both are working properly. I have replaced both of the 30amp switches next to the fuse box and the 3 large fuses next to the battery,,,,I've replaced the battery,,,,,I have replaced the ignition switch,,,I replaced the complete hazard switch which was broken,,,,I have confirmed that the diesel pump is working, it is sending diesel through the fuel rail to the overflow tube and back up to the fuel tank. the diesel fuel activation mechanism,,,,photo attached,,,,has been suggested as the problem. The tractor just stopped while he was using it,,,,using the bucket to lift up some small roots in the front yard. I thought it might be the fuel filter or fuel pump,,,,replaced the fuel filter still would not start. I need someone to tell me how to bench test the fuel actuator,,,,photo attached,,,the plunger is in the out position and can be pressed in by hand fairly easily. The problem I have is that it is an almost 900 dollar item to replace,,,,,and on a retirement pension I really need to know if it is the problem before I take that kind of money out of savings. The problem I noticed is that there is no power coming through the connections to it from the engine electrical system with the key on or when cranking the engine. I tried to make the plunger move by applying 12volts into every wire independent of each other with no results,,,,,,I then checked to see if the 12volts I was putting through each wire,,,,,(there are 5) and the current was found by puncturing the insulation at the base of each wire as each went into the actuator,,,,each wire carried the 12volts to that point. I do not know what else to do. In my mind there should be voltage coming to the plug in connectors from the engine electrical side but there is not. So there you have it what do you think fellas,,,,I could sure appreciate your suggestions and help. Thank you in advance.

I think the solutions may well depend on how dedicated you are to keeping things "factory original" and keeping "Safety Sam" satisfied. I can think of a few "work arounds" that might help get you going, provided those concerns aren't more important to you than having a tractor that will start, run, and operate when you need it to. Sometimes we need to make choices.

I am very interested in what you have to say,,,,,I have an 18 wheeler air ride seat on it and have bypassed the seat safety switch. Please let me know what I can do.

Just guessing here, maybe something will resonate with you and help you solve your issue…..
the fuel shut off solenoid is probably energized when you turn on the tractor and spring return to shut the fuel off. There should be a pull in coil and a holding coil combined in your solenoid. You could try to start the tractor with the solenoid out of the way and manually move the fuel shut off to the run position. If the solenoid is the problem, it should fire up.
At work, we used several different types of fuel shutoff solenoids that were aftermarket and brackets/linkages were fabricated to fit. Too long ago to make more specific recommendations. Cam
