my latest project is constructing a jump ramp
for the coming monster truck show.
actually, there is a project to curb about 4
blocks of street in the neighboring subdivision,
lowering the pavement somewhat to better improve
drainage. we have allowed the contractor to
built his put-and-take pile on our 5 acres a few
lots north of where we live.
hopefully they will do considerably more putting
than taking. i can use whatever they leave to
raise the land there - drainage being a problem
in much of willacy county.
meanwhile i am using the heap for my own
pile-it training program, learning new skills with
the box blade and anticipating the gift of some
dirt by leveling what i can to some low spots.
