Did some trail cutting with the Ventrac. Excavator is not fixed. Haven’t been able to find anyone who can repair the part. There is one more place to check in Richmond. I put it on pause because of the car/deer/ new car. This weekend I’m trying to get my charger ready for installation.

What a great video. That should be a Ventrac Commercial. It helps having a second person ahead of you. I'm surprised he could find the trail.

It was amazingly over grown. He has a neighbor who rides 4 wheelers thru the area and that keeps the trails open but a few years back there were some storms and some trees fell. Without the riders, the saplings went crazy.

Amazing best place in the world to be riding on trails hope you enjoy now that it’s opened back up. For me it was never about what I could do but what I saw along the way. Rode a lot of trails in the day not so much now

Remind me again which part you are trying to repair/replace?

Quotes for work on this part were coming in from $650-1500 just to work on it.
I was able to order the spring and piston assembly for under $900 and it should be delivered next week. I’ve already started soaking the nuts in penetrating oil so I can try to get this done.
