I like the tractor balance thing, and the short trailer backing that must be hard to do and I have the idea of the tennis ball thing now.
What size channel did you use on your road grader/land plane? I've been wanting to make one like that.

Love the log splitter, although I think that the beautiful green paint my have a little to do with it. The christmas tree holder is great, the little glass tube on the side makes it superb. Outstanding work.

That leveler is 9 foot wide so I used 10 inch channel iron. It works very well.
My Father built one that is 6 foot wide and used 5 inch channel if I remember right.

WoW!! thats heavy. How long is your boom pole and how much do you think it will lift straight out horizontal? I have one that will pick up almost 1,000 pounds

I believe the boom pole used with the fork lift attatchment as pictured has lifted a 55 gallon full of solid concrete. My Dad thinks it weights 2000 lbs. Actually the boom pole is rarely used. I think if Dad didnt lone me his loader tractor it would be used much more often though.

Thanks for the complements and for the welcome to the site.

I have a question. Does any one know why I can only post from my work computer here at TBN. Could it be cookies?

First thought: If you have kids, ask them. they either screwed it up or know how to fix it or both.

Sorry but I have to ask. Are you logged in at home? I don't log in at work and just read.

Wow, that the fanciest Christmas tree stand I ever saw. 4 way levelers and a site glass! Nice job.

Great website!!!, and welcome to TBN.

Is that gold John Deere the same one Robert posted pics on awhile ago? I'd love to hear the story on how you came to own it and what it looked like when you bought it. The part that was mentioned that I really found interesting is that it was painted green over the gold, and that the previous owners used it as any other tractor.

Thanks,
Eddie

I just finished reading your website. I didn't notice the history of the Gold Tractor at first and just looked at the pictures. Now that I've read it, I'm even more impressed. Very NICE !!!

Mr. Jimi,
There was one of those type graders out at the JD dealership on US1 if you get that far from home, it may still be there and you can eye it up close and personal. It was over near the fence on the south side of the building. Not too far of a drive from your in town house.
