I just got a Kubota L3710
It's my first tractor and I was
wondering how often the brakes need replacing. They are wet discs and I need to use them to keep the thing going straight when plowing deep snow.
Do they wear out quickly?
I have been reading the forum for awhile now and it helped in my tractor decision. Thanks

Congrats on the new tractor! I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. As far as the brakes go... I can't speak for your tractor in particular. I can tell you though that we have about 12 tractors at work... some of the late '70s models with 8000+ hours on them as we have never touched the brakes on any of them! The only thing I can recall doing to any of them was adjusting the brakes and a master cylinder on an old International. I don't think you'll have to worry about them for a long time.

I purchased my L 3710 in June 2000. I have been plowing snow since then, and the brakes are holding up just fine. I have 520 hours on the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Congrats. I also have an L3710 bought in June 04. My first tractor as well. I've added a few things to make it "mine"
( lights, extingiusher holder, canopy etc.) so far it's been a great rig after this summer I'll know for sure. Good Luck
