Hi guys, i just purchased a B1700, my first tractor, it has a LA301 fel with only 495 hrs minty cond. Looks brand new, my question is how or where can i find out what year it is? The previous owner said he thought it was a 2000 but didn't bota stop making this model in 99? Any help would be great, thanks.

The first used tractor I was considering before I bought my new one was a B1700 which the person said was a 2002. I was skeptical because tractordata.com said they were made up until 1999. When I was shopping at the Kubota dealer I asked and he told me they were made up until 2002.Hopefully someone else here can confirm this. I think if you find the right person they might be able to decode the year of manufacture from the serial number.You're going to have a lot of fun with it no matter what year it turns out to be.
