My first time at Agri-Supply.

Wow i have gotten the catalouge for a few years (and have ordered a few times) but this was my first time there. I was on my way back from Jax FLa and finially they were open. I had to spend 2 weeks there for a class for work. They are not open on sunday at my location and close at 5:30 on friday so i missed them the first 3 times i passed in statesboro GA, but yesterday we got out a little early so i got there at 4:30, and wow! Its like TSC on steroids. This place makes TSC look laughable and for the City folks with a big yard. They have 20 times more stuff and are about half to 2/3 the price of TSC on most stuff! I will go back in a few weeks to get some stuff i could not get this time ( i will go by there on my way to savannah in a few weeks).

I got a hat cause i wear them lots and always get ones i like when i find them. I got the inhouse brand of roundup (glyphosate) it is $34.95 for 2.5 galons. and i got a 5 gallon pail for "303" tractor fluid (warren brand) preparing to change my fluid in my tractor. This is the same brand that TSC sells as their traveller and maybe the accell brand. But the traveller brand normally sells for $40 and goes on sale for $35.

Im close to 3 hours from 2 stores but this place is awsome, i feel sorry for those who are not near one!

I wish I had one closer. Ive got the 3hr problem myself. A visit, albeit productive, blows a day and a bunch of fuel. One must be making a significant purchase to justify it. I sure wish they were nearby .. or even anywhere near other places i travel. :confused3:

Yes, there is one in Florence, SC. It was a religious experience my first time, too. I got snagged for Federal Jury Duty, (the people who live in Columbia have to go to Florence to serve, yuk!), and the only good thing about the experience was Agri-Supply!. We occasionally make the pilgrimage now and again...

I also remember my first time to Lowe's eons ago...it was at Jacksonville Fl, (I was living in Waycross back then), and I was simply in awe how they could get all that stuff in one place. And the big city locals just took it for granted!

Back then, we drove the mules out of the swamp to get our yearly supply of flour, salt and sugar...

I get it shipped to my door. The cheapest/best PTO shaft I was willing to buy came from there. A buddy bought bedder disks from there a couple of weeks ago. I look at them for attachments too, since their price is pretty good.

I have used them to buy burners for my home brew stand. They were great on the phone and customer service was top notch.

I agree, i didn't just stop by there to shop one day. I was on my way home after a week working out of town and the fastest way home is literally right by one. So i stopped by.

Yea customer service is great, but nothing beats going in and roaming up and downthe isles!

I got their catalog yesterday for the first time, (I don't know how they got my address...) but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. I'd never even heard of them before yesterday.
