Here is the package I'm looking at:

4130 epowrreverser
300CX w/ HD 72" buck w/ cutting blade
447BH w/ power beyond
curtis soft cab (no heat)
it has turf tires but he's seering if any of the R4's on the lot fit it, if so he will swap them

out the door 25K even

I'm also looking to load the tires, add heat. this adds $550 to the price.

I really wanted hydro (i think) but this price seems too good to pass, am I correct?

Thanks all, I look forward to posting more often... thats is I find any free time after buying my deere. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Did you mean 4310? I would not pass on the transmission that you really want no matter what the deal. If you think you will like the epower then great. This is a big purchase so do it right the first time. What is his pricing on the 3320 with ehydro and the out you want? Are you wanting the BH for sure? Expensive to just have and not need. Then again I think everyone should needs a BH (if not but just in their own mind) - I know I want one but it is big $$$.

my bad, you are correct it's a 4310. I drove the tractor on the lot a few times now... I know with an hour or 2 of seat time the reverser tranny will be second nature. Once I got used to the shifting between forward/reverse w/ no clutch and using the foot throttle, I love it!

As far as the back hoe, I need it. I'm going to run electrical from my barn to a new pole barn. I'm also need to dig up a bunch of stumps, I'm selective cutting 3 acres and I want to do a nice job cleaning up after.

I havent checked the pricing of the 3320, but I know it's gonna be more.

Sorry to butt in, but as Mike said, this is a big purchase, and tranny choice is a huge part of the decision. I could go on and on about why I think hydro is so incredibly great to have on a CUT (and many other machines), but I won't. Maybe read posts until you're sure you don't want it, or sure that you do. Maybe drive a hydro model until you fall in or out of love with it.

Maybe ask yourself again why you really wanted hydro, then ask yourself why you're thinking of not getting it. I know it's a chunk of change, but it's now or never. Get what you really want if you possibly can, life is short.

It just seems that if you think you really want hydro, you are probably right. I hope whatever you get brings you happiness and satisfaction.
