My Family just got bigger

Looks like I just added a couple of 4 legs to my pack
This is Lacy & Dakota

Lacy is a 5 year old Mare 15.2 hand Quarter horse Paint

Dakota is a 6 year old Gelding 16 hand Quarter horse Paint

Both horses are bare foots and had to go together, That worked out perfect for me
They should be coming home Tuesday if all goes as planned

Was this the reason for the fence project? I thought that was for around the pool area, but don't remember for sure. I don't know anything about horses, but it seems the common theme is that you need a really good fence for them!!! hahaha

No the forks I bought with the tractor, there as old as the tractor itself. I will say I use them all the time.

Eddie you are correct, I put the last fence up for the pool. This place was built as a Horse farm though and I have always planned on horses when we bought the place. Horses require lots of fence building and mending, That is why a PHD is so important too me

Horses are great animals to have around, almost like dogs. My favorite is when Bart (he is 17 hands I think) pretends to be invisible and tries to sneak in the hay storage, LOL! Just like the classic:

I'm just a little black rain cloud
hovering under your honey tree,
Only a little black rain cloud,
pay no attention to little me....

I have to say I am enjoying them. I know I just can't sit on the couch and sleep after work now. I go out and sift out to poop and then about 15 minuets ground work with each of them and put them to bed LOL. I love it
