Their presence has certainly changed since their launch. Something smells off

According to the banner at the top of the Summit forum and the Summit website FAQs, it seems that ITL, the India company that actually makes the tractors, has acquired Summit Tractors. Perhaps you could reach out to the ITL parent company for help.

Well if they own summit, they also own this huge oversight!

They need to make it more than right immediately!

Even if they do make it right for this one tractor owner, I'm not foolish enough to believe it's a one off problem, this is America, if they want to sell tractors, they need to keep their word!!!

Aaargh, dangit that sucks. Summit tractors still has the banner ad atop this site. If they are spending money on that, one would think they are actually serious about building their brand.

A single shared customer interaction and experience like this one goes a LONG way to influencing others to avoid the brand.

And if you post in there section ... You get a message like this ... That it's invisible until the moderator "approves it" ...

The CEO of Summit called me and I agreed to take my post down and give him an opportunity to correct the situation, If it is not fixed within two weeks I will put the post back up.

So ... I'm guessing you finally got your BH, attachment of choice, and $500 IIRC was what they PROMISED You, and your now a happy tractor owner ... Yes?

Just a tiny follow up ... I had sent a PM to the OP, I won't go into all the details, but this morning he contacted me, and YES he got what he was promised, and most importantly, he is HAPPY with his tractor!

I don't think he left anything in that Summit section either, even though he posted over there about other things ... I had sent him a PM back in the beginning of November, (I don't like loose ends!) and he replied today ...

I kinda get the impression he was told not to say too much from the manufacturer ... But he didn't actually say that ...

He did get everything he had coming to him, apparently he bought it just at the time of the buyout or what ever it was with ITL and his sale kinda fell through the cracks ..
