My experience with Summit Tractors

No, it sure doesn't.

At this point I believe this is something you have to be willing to accept when you buy a Korean import machine, or one that's partially assembled in the States with import parts. I do realize Kubota and JD can have poor dealer interactions as well, it's just you have a bigger network to work with.

I really hope it works out for the OP and he gets his BH, an attachment and some cash back.
I thought they were made in India, or did I hear wrong?

I don’t think it’s about tractor origin.
I feel it being more of tractor point of sale.
It takes an enormous amount of back up to support tractor sales and imo, using a dedicated dealership is the better alternative to using a box store no matter the siren of lower pricing.

I agree with you. Buying this scope of equipment from a department, home improvement or big box store is going to make things difficult as stores discontinue the products they carry all the time. Rural King is a little different in that you can lean on the TYM network.

It's price that draws people to the various import machines. Low price tends to come at a cost. You can't have it all. All I suggest is buyers must understand that going into buying one of these. It's also best if you're the type that likes to and has some capability in working on the machine yourself.

I personally have very low expectations of dealerships of anything. In 2025, they either don't have the parts, they don't have the knowledge/skills/resources, or they just aren't willing and able to help you. However having one in time of need is worth something.
