Just wanted to share some feedback for anyone considering Service Advisor. I’ve been using the new John Deere Service Advisor 5.4 and honestly it’s been a big improvement over the older versions. The software works fully offline, has all the diagnostics, troubleshooting, calibrations, and manuals you’d expect, and it even connects smoothly with Nexiq USB Link 3 (not just EDL).

It’s saved me both time and money by cutting back on dealer visits, especially during busy seasons. If you’re working with tractors or construction/forestry equipment, I’d definitely recommend checking it out:

John Deere Service Advisor 5.4 Agriculture
John Deere Service Advisor 5.4 Construction & Forestry

Hope this helps someone who’s been on the fence about upgrading.

This is either a great deal, or a bit fishy. Deere doesn't sell Service Advisor anymore. It's now called Operations Center Pro Service. And all versions are annual subscriptions, not single purchase. You can get it for a single PIN for about $200 which isn't bad. For unlimted PINs, or for a service business the license is $5000 to $6000 /yr.

If you buy what's referenced in the above post, I have no idea what you would get, and how that relates to Deere's offerings. Caution is advised.

This appears to be a AI bot post. I have been seeing more like this on other strings.

No, this is not an AI post. I can have you talk about the tractors I use and the customers I repair, I wrote about my experiences.
