And what does the other number after those indicate; i.e., 68.34.63.204 :58763 or :51506 ?

The other number is the port number that they are using or trying to enter I donot remember
which. If the ip number is the address then think of the port
as the door they are using

Well I'm learning everyday reading this thread but I think I missed something...

I get this message when ever I try to go to any TBN'ers URL, or any on the web for that matter: "Iexplore has caused an error in SHELL32.DLL". Of course that's it can't go any further.

I did a refresh with the recovery disk that came with the computer and still get the same message. HELP???

Oh........I'm running Windows ME and Internet Explorer.

All I want is my URL back when on TBN. Can someone guide me on this, and keep it simple to understand?? Thanks George

I am running W98SE, so it may not apply to your operating system. Whenever I have problems with Internet Explorer, I go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Information/Tools/Internet Explorer Repair Tool. I run this program, reboot the system, and it works fine. Its worth a try.

I used to get the same message from ME when I was using it..... after talking to a friend who works for Microsoft, I upgraded to Windows XP Professional and haven't had a problem ever since. The ME operation system if one of the worse products to come out of Microsoft in my opinion... It will be worth the expense to upgrade to XP now matter what version you get.... Home or Professional..... The time that I spent trying to get ME to work properly was only good for learning about operating systems.... nothing was able to resolve the problems with ME...
