Starting this thread to document mods, implements, associated new tractor stuff.

First up this Milwaukee cordless grease gun. I sold my old one with my B2920, these are so awesome its one of the first things I purchased for the BX. That black tip is not factory, my dealer was selling these its an easy on easy release tip, no more tug of wars with grease zerks.

I may have gotten carried away ordering the biggest one I could find this lawn roller is truly HUGE, 24 inch diameter. I was going to assemble today but had to deal with the grease fiasco below.

The fancy Oregon MMM blades arrived, they are pretty thick and look brutal. I was going to install them but....

But...when I removed the deck I found this mess, red grease flung everywhere. Apparently the dealer over greased and didn't bother cleaning up their mess so there's grease flung all over the deck, belts, plastic guards.

I've had five MMM's from Kubota. Every one, when used, I pumped with grease until my color grease came out. All but one sputtered water out with the Kubota grease. Yes, grease comes out under the spindle covers, but I've never had it get on the belts. Just wipe the deck.
I bought zerk connectors for my guns that have a trigger to press to open the jaws. Unless you squeeze the trigger it's not coming off. Perfect for greasing the tractor where you can't quite hold the gun on the zerk, and perfect to prevent pulling the pressed-in zerks out of the anti-scalp wheels on the MMM.

Subscribed....is this your own personal thread or do you intend to have other 80 series Bx owners chime in with their implements and mods?

I like keeping my stuff looking new and in good condition so I purchased a strip of adhesive backed rubber from McMasterCarr.

The exposed paint where I step on/off the tractor is already scratched and dull from just 2 hours on the meter. All the paint wore off this area on my B2920.

Speaking of paint wearing off, 400 lbs of suitcase weights were going to put a beating on the hitch weight bar so I treated it with the rubber sheet also.

I'm going to see how this holds up before applying the strip to the other side.

Got the new Oregon blades installed, here you see the Oregon blade vs the factory Kubota blade, note the longer cut length on the Oregon blade.

Here's that carbide coating Oregon advertises.

After I cleaned off all the grease that was sprayed everywhere under the deck I got the blades installed.
