I have a Mahindra 4500 two wheel drive, my bush hall lift handle appear to be locked. I cannot not move it up or down, using my hand. If I take something and bit it back than the bush hall will lift. What is wrong with my lift handle, while it appear stuck, how to get it loose, and lifting my bush hall again.

Have you tried greasing your zerk fittings? Seriously when I cant lift my implements in back I grease the fittings back there and the they lift up and down when I use my lift handle. Just my 2 cents. I have all the filters for your 4500 for sale of you need them. I ordered them from someone on Amazon and they wouldn't take them back even though I never used them. They are brand new in the box if you need to do an oil change or whatever. I have 6 filters for you 4500. Let me know.

Your linkage is locked up. Look at it with a strong light so you can see all pivot points. Douse them with penetrant, and work the handle up and down until it's free.

On the other side of my seat the left side is two handles, the lower handle is the handle that puts the bush hall cutting blade in gear to start turning and cutting. Also on the left side of my seat is another handle that goes across the bottom of the seat. Can someone tell me what this handle is for. Could I have may have moved the handle in the wrong position and that is why my bush hall is not lifting. The handle is as of now position to the far left. Again what is the handle for?????????????????????

Thanks for the reply ACHINGBACK: Where on the tractor is the linkage that maybe locked up??? Where are the pivot points, that you are talking about???? Can I use a good penetrating oil to loosen the linkage?????

Does your tractor have rear remotes? You might have your hydraulic flow going to them??

Is "bush hall" possibly a typo?

I had this issue with my 4025, I had to keep spraying the levers with penetrating lube. After a few days of doing this it broke free, and operated good as new.

Sell the tractor!

Seriously. A bush hall in the wrong hands is very dangerous.
