After trading my JD 4010 with front mounted snowblower for my NEW 3320 and then hearing the price of a new front mounted snowblower I came up with this solution. I read every thread concerning the FEL plow debate and worked with Northernmainer's design and came up with this. The beauty of it is that you don't use the FEL float. The only weight on the ground is the weight of the plow. It is hooked up exactly like a PU truck. You can see more picks by pointing your browser at FotoPlayer.

Looks very ingenious to me. Nice piece of engineering. What sort of plumbing is needed to run everything?

I am using the power beyond function to angle the plow

I had a Gravely with a big 5' snow blade on it before getting my 4010. The snow blade is the quickest way to move snow as long as you have space to the side of the driveway to push it. If not, you then need a snowblower. I had to use the old Gravely square chute blower one time when we had 7" of sleet (in June). The plow wouldn't touch it, just would slide up over it. The old square chuter tied into it and threw it about 60 feet or so away.

If I had much snow to handle, I'd probably go with a rear snow blower and leave the FEL on. The FEL is still handy for getting into tight spots to get snow and put it somewhere else. In some tight spots, you have to be very careful where the snow blower is pointing. Nothing like tossing snow through a window or into the inside of a garage.

We don't have much snow here; so, my rear blade works fine for most of it, with the FEL for tight spots. If the snow really comes, I can always use the FEL the slow way to clear anything too deep for the rear blade.

Looks like it is very well done. I like how you mounted it with the brace running up from the back.

It appears like you are not actually lifting it with the lift cylinder. If that is correct I ask why you went to all of the work to mount the lift cylinder and triangle?

Fisher plows are made here in Maine and since all the head gear came with the used plow, I decided to keep the Fisher look. It's just a fun thing. The lift cylinder is just for looks.

So you added an extra valve? The Power Beyond alone will not control the plow...or did you mean to say you are using the 3rd SCV (rear remote)?

I wish you well on your setup, I had a less than pleasurable experience with mine-but on a smaller machine than yours.

I was going to ask the same thing...

I bad, I should have said that I am using the rear remote to angle the plow. I still have full control over the FEL height and angle.
