I got this a few years back and this board was an excellent source of info to help me understand what the model I wanted would be. I new I wanted the High Row Crop, but I had no idea which model I was asking to find. Many folks on here were helpful, but I must say that Soundguy was a real excellent source of information AND wisdom. Thanks!

Hey, that's a great looking 961. Congrats on an excellent restoration job.

I almost had a 960 about a year ago but couldn't close the deal.

what size rear rubber are you running?

I like the wide fronts. I have a 4000 4 cyl ( 63 ) that has a wide front..

13.6 x 28 I"m pretty sure for the rears... I can't remember although I was just staring at it two days ago... and now I'm in AZ for work. I have no idea about the fronts.

Had the rubber put on in NC a few years back when I bought the tractor and it now resides in the San Diego Mtns in CA.

I've got more shots of the rubber, I'll get them up here.

Well Flusher, I can't take too much credit. It looked pretty good when I got it, it just needs TLC. But thank you!

I'll post a picture of the wiring rat's next soon. I have been trying to make sense of it and clean it up a little as I go and I had to do some work on that nest of wiring to get it to run again this week.

Rather than fight it.. I'd dike it all out and start over. there probably isn't 16' of wiring end to end in a ford like that including 2 headlamps and a tail lamp run.

Well Soundguy, that's my plan. I bought the actually ignition switch to go on it. The thing doesn't even have one now, they wired a toggle switch for offroad lights in as the ignition switch, but it just hangs. I'll get a picture of the mess. The wiring diagrams are in the service manuals aren't they? I've got the books up at the cabin where the tractors sits.

Once I fix this it might get the fuel gauge to work again, it constantly read 5/8 full.

Do know if there is a wire type/rating for exterior use so the coating doesn't deteriorate from the sun? Some of this stuff is vaporizing and some of it looks like it's ready for another decade outside.
