So I have a paid for 08 3032e with a 305 loader, 400 hours, looks showroom.

My buddy is selling a 03 4310 with a 420 loader, 437 hours, stored outside so she’s faded and a little, functions perfect. 12/12 Power reverser.

Spec wise it's about a 900lb larger machine, has more 3 point lift (not huge to me), Loader unfortunately specs out light like the 305 I have but does have much greater break out Force.
The 4310has a few nice features, I like the folding ROPS (not needed but nice), I like the separate locking diff pedal, I really like the angle the bucket will roll back too. Much steeper than my 305 loader, I hate loosing material out of the front due to such a low roll back angle. I’m sure there's a proper term for that but I hope ya get it. Of course the pump is much larger on the 4310 but not sure it gets me a ton.

Now like I said my 3032 looks cherry and is a much newer shiny machine. What to do what to do.

I would love to find a 4500/4600/4700 or 10 model with a 460 loader. Now that I would jump all over but is the 4310 really any more machine than what I have or should I hold out???

What do you guys think?

Get what you would "love" to have IMO keep looking.

I looked into trading my 2013 3032E for a 4 series and WOW, quite a price jump. I did get a great deal on my 3032E and like you it is just like new. I will be keeping it.

I like my 3032 a lot but now that all the kids are in school I have more time to devote to side jobs, mainly firewood. It’s a lot of work, I’ve found a rock bucket or a pallet is best for tossing the wood on/in then carrying it to the road and dumping it in the trailer. I could use a bit more loader capacity and a bit more lift height. Otherwise the 3032 is a good size.
The newer 4 series are way too expensive. My issue is I am looking for a very few older tractors so to find one is tough. Much less one in great shape. Anything newer than a 10series and I’m out, 5 series too big, anything smaller than the 4500 is too small, so I have a very small window of opportunity.
Oh well I’ve got some time.

Well fellas I don稚 know how but a 4510 Power Reverser with 460 loader popped up on CL this morning within an hour from me. It痴 been stored outside so she needs a new hood, side panels will need to be replaced soon, but mechanically its good. Get this original owner and only 176 hours!
I picked it up today, no chance I was going to let it get away. I will get up pictures in a few days and start a new thread. I got extremely lucky.
It came with a 6 LX Cutter and a 6 Frontier rake. I need a longer trailer, ughhh. Lol.

Congrats on finding the machine you wanted. A good body shop may be able to paint the hood up good as new.

From Left to Right, 4510, 4310, 3032e. Now I have got 3 tractors and I only need 1, lol. It is not the best time of year to sell but it is what it is. Moved 10 ton of stone with the 4510, skid steer cannot keep traction on the frozen ground. Thank goodness the 4510 was up to the task and I am very impressed with it.

I like the 4510-4710 tractors. Any time of year is good to sell. Mentioning you want to sell right here in this thread and you probably will get some looks. But not too many peruse this JD part of the forum.

Thank you for your service to our great country!

The United States Marine Corps still to this day has done far more for me than I could ever do for her. I’m just lucky I got my chance to serve.

I will admit the 4310 is easily enough tractor for me honestly, but overkill has always been my strong suit.
