I will limit my walking for a week or two, definitely no "off road" ATV/tractor. We feed most of the year and enjoy when "mama" brings the kidds when she feels their safe to travel. Of course I "aint" allowed to hunt in the yard! Thats ok, I enjoy caring for them.

Yeah, I have a love hate relationship with the deer around the place. I hate them in the garden so I fenced it off. But I love seeing them under the apple trees cleaning up the wind falls. The dog loves to chase them to the edge of the property but I hate it when mama wants revenge and I have to break it up. Some times I am not sure who is chasing whom.

Tom, I had a filly out here, the last year I had her (18 months old), I was in my tower blind and I swear to the almighty, she was running around, almost like tag with 3 yearling deer. Damdest thing I ever saw, they where running and bucking and having a blast. No, didn't "chute" nothing that day.

I have raised several deer in years past and they each have a personality, some are tenaciously destructive:laughing:
