my 1050 3pt wont raise. Any ideas?

First let me say that I don't know anything about the 1050. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Many JD CUTs have a knob (usually at the base of the seat) that rotates to control the 3ph rate of drop, and if it is turned all the way the 3ph is locked out and won't work at all. Does the 1050 have this feature? Maybe yours is just locked out. Forgive me if this is basic info you already know.

I have a 950 and GMM is correct about the control knob. And if I remember correctly, my manual said not to operate the tractor for extended periods with that valve closed. Unfortunately my tractor and manual are 30 miles away and I can't go look to see for sure what it said.
