Kubota MX5200
Dealer gave me a ballpark number of $29,400 with front loader and R4s, and can finance 0% for 84 mo. with 20% down. Not sure if I could bargain to have one or two remotes included, or if not, what a fair price would be? Thanks in advance for any feedback and/or recommendations you may have.

Background: Looking for a lower weight, higher HP tractor that I can safely tow with my older truck that has either HST or power/hydraulic shuttle, 4WD and a remote or two. The MX5800 certainly meets that criteria, and with current rebates/financing/warranty offers it is unusually (in my experience) closer in price to some of the Korean manufacturers like LS and Kioti that I have shopped. Plus there are Kubota dealers everywhere in my area, whereas only 1-2 who are several hours away when it comes to LS and Kioti.

Alternatives: a local JD dealer wants $31,500 for a 4052M with FEL and BB, and Kioti dealer $23,900 for a DK5510 with hydraulic shuttle, FEL and 1 remote (both new, cash offers). Saving the LS for last, since I previously had a positive experience, final decision will be between the other brand and the LS... probably around $26,500 cash for a XR4155H with two hydraulic remotes standard but lower PTO HP. I haven't demo'd the Deere... just can't get past the plastic fenders, non telescoping cat 1 hitch, and lower HP for a higher price. I liked the Kioti a lot -- quietest I've tested so far and cheapest, but it also has a few lows vs. the Kubota, particularly the lack of a dealer network in my region

Be sure to ask them to throw in the right-side fender handle. I hope you are not talking about a 1/2 ton truck...

A very impressive machine.

No idea on the remotes but more than fair price on the tractor.

If I needed the HP, I'd be glad to step into a MX5800.

Thanks to you both for feedback. Ford Ranger should handle that load ok, right? It handles our travel trailer great!

That is a nice tractor. Price looks pretty darn good to me. I bet you could get an extra remote or something else thrown in like 50 hour service etc. You never know unless you ask.

Sorry, first image that came to mind... we have its big brother with the V10 and 4 speed auto. Engine runs great, but concerned about overloading transmission and/or super slow speeds on the steep grades around here. Guess I could always unload tractor and pull truck up the hill... LOL

I think that's a very good price on that machine, especially only needing 20% down. I paid 24,500 cash for my MX4700 three years ago.

Also, I've towed mine with my F250 with the straight 6. I think you'll be just fine with your V10.

I also think that is a very good price.
FYI, the remotes aren't cheap. I would expect around $1200 each.

Not a bad price. Paid $28,600 in December for a MX5200 loader, bucket, bale spear, pallet forks, 2 rear remotes and loaded R4 tires.

A few thoughts... I would not be afraid of plastic fenders on any model, but I wouldn't want a tractor without a telescoping hitch. Also, I would pay the extra up front and get 2 or 3 remotes (whichever is max). You will never have a chance to get them at a lower price, and I've never seen a post on here by someone saying they wished they had fewer remotes. I got 2 with mine, and soon realized I should have got all 3.

Thanks to all for your feedback and advice. Looking forward to making a decision over the next few weeks. As of today there is a stronger likelihood of it being orange... and then when the election is over, I'll decide which tractor color suits me best.
