Anyone know the difference between mx5400 engine and mx6000 engine the spec sheet says they are the same engine but have almost 10 hp difference between them so whats different i would like to turn mine up to mx6000 specs if possible any input from anyone would be helpful

Forget turning it 'up' buy a bigger unit.

It's more like 6hp than 10 and I doubt you'd even notice, maybe if you were running a big brush hog in steep terrain but other than that I doubt it. If you want more capability go bigger.
