Okey Doke. . . I finally got home from working out of town this week. First thing I did was go out to the tractor to look at the screens and condenser / evaporator. Here’s what I got to say. . . IDIOT, IDIOT, IDIOT! ! ! I feel like such a Dolt! ! ! I am going to chalk this one up to “Rookie Mistake with a Lesson Learned.”

YES. . . It was as many of you said. The screens and and evaporator and condenser and Everything had dust and chaff all in it. Dannnng, I feel so stupid. I should have been blowing those things out Every Single Time I bush hogged. I was sweating my buttocks off for no good reason. I bush hogged for about 2 hours today and was as cool as a cucumber.

I really appreciate everybody’s input. Next time something like this happens, I am not going to wait to ask the question on here.

Thanks for ALL the help! ! !

Woo hoo, good deal. Congrats.

edit: beside the point that you were not getting cooling, running your A/C as such is bad for compressor. Your system has to run on a very high head pressure, then the safeties shut the compressor on pressure and temperature and this cycling continues over and over. That is not good for your compressor. Running, long and steady is best for best compressor lubrication and system longer life.
