How cool/cold should my cab be in my MX5400 with the air-conditioning on cold/full?
I was gonna attach pics, but believe me it was hot and I was sweating in my cab. 91 degrees outside with full sun. Sweating in my shirt. Cab, 94 to 97 degrees. When you hold your hand to the air duct, it does not feel cold. I understand that when the sun comes thru the glass, it can be like an oven in there, but I actually feel cooler when I step out of the cab, than I do inside. I figure I paid the extra $8K to get the cab with air-conditioning, I at least should not have a sweat soaked shirt.
I just want to know if this is normal, or if it should be considerably cooler. Do I need to send it in for warranty work. I bought the tractor December 2020, and it has just over 140 hours.
The pics are of a day out bush hogging on flat terrain.
I hope this gives you enough info. Should my cab be cooler? ? ?
