Mx5100 top link to short???

I have a new mx5100, my top link appears to be too short. To get the top link out level with the lower hitch arms it is around 3/4 of the way extended out. And when using my box blade, if I adjust it out further than the lower arms it's about to screw out of itself. Do I have the wrong top link, or is this common on the mx5100. I didn't have this issue with my L3200. Thinking about buying or building a top link extension bracket.

I had the same problem with my 5740 so I go a heavier and longer top link. Much better and safer.:thumbsup:
