Anyone know where the kill switch for the HST pedal is? The one that when paired with the seat or PTO switch then kills the engine. I looked for a pressure switch on the HST pedal linkage but there is nothing there. Is it in the ECU? Thanks.

I am not sure about the MX series, but on the L series it is below the steering wheel behind the lower part of the dash.

What are you trying to do, use the hot pedal when not in the seat? If you jumper the seat safety switch it will allow this. I don't know of a switch tied to the actual hst pedal.

No, I want to install an audible alarm when both the parking break and HST are engaged.

Is there an actual momentary switch? What would I be looking for?

go to the kubota website, choose parts, illustrated parts list, check the box to accept the terms, and then put in mx4800, and choose the hst model, then the electrical section, choose the drawing about b10600 switch sensor, steering..etc.. I think this is what you are looking for. It is all hidden way up in there behind the steering column.

You rock! I used to do this with my old Case 680 backhoe but I didn't think Kubota offered the diagrams and blowups online. Thanks for the tip. I will look tonight.

Your Welcome.. the descriptions of the switches aren't very good, kind of cryptic, but it may help you figure it out. Do a screen snip and print it out on paper, and take it with you to the tractor, to help locate things.

It's on the left side of the drive train below the differential lock pedal and kinda burried.
