New to the site and already screwed up. I started my very first thread and realized I put if in the wrong category. So I'll start another, new to the mulching business. Operating just south of Atlanta,Georgia I have an ASV RC-100 running a Timber Ax. Also have a harley rake and bucket just to cover the bases. I have seen a few question on Timber Ax's and would be happy to answer them as well as RC-100 questions. Look forward to the chats. Later

What a coincidence!! I just happen to have a 60 acre farm 75 miles South of Etlanna where I would allow you to practice using your new machine and even draw a crowd for demonstration purposes. I would probably throw in a couple of free meals.

Seriously, what are your rates, and what is the minimum job? I spent most of the afternoon trying to find a skid-steer with a hydraulic mower attachment. Seems no one in the middle-GA area rents them. Several rental places mentioned liability concerns. It would be nice to get a mulching machine in, but I could probably do most of what I need done with a skid-steer with the mower.

Welcome to TBN Robbie -

That is a nice machine and a nice website you have there. Good luck in your new endeavor.

We need a few thousand of these setups around to clear out the slash and undergrowth that promote wetland formation and fuel fires.

It is too bad that the setup is so expensive. Makes your necessary hourly rates a bit out of reach for many folks.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Thanks also for checking out our web site and the replies. Yes these machines are expensive to purchase and operate but the end results are short of incredible. I try to be competitive with my rates in this area so if anyone needs any work please contact. Thanks again for the posts , talk later
