Mulching blades for PTO finish mower

Saw a very short thread on this topic from 2009, but I'm hoping since then one or more of you guys have come across a mulching blade kit for a 84" PTO finish mower that you like.

Mine cuts good with regular blades, but the clippings tend to clump up, even though it's a rear discharge, and I always cut when it's dry.

I guess I could mow more often, but mow about every 7-10 days now on common bermuda.

I have a older 60" BushHog finish mower with gator blades. It is side discharge and I mow every two or three weeks. When I finish, it looks like I mow weekly.

I also have a lot of red oak trees and I never rake. My neighbor rakes several times a year and my yard looks as clean as his after one mow.

I highly recommend mulching blades if you can find some for your mower. Good luck! :thumbsup:

Granted it’s not a finish mower, I have Gator G5’s on my ZTR. They do very well unless the grass is damp/wet

I’m adding an 84” finish mower to my arsenal in due time. It will be outfitted with whatever model Gator mulching blades will fit it
