Mulcher for Small Excavator Bobcat 331

New community member here. I have a 331 looking for some advice or experience using a forestry mulcher on it. I spoke with Fecon for their 28" and they said it would not work. Torrent says their 28" will work. Does anyone have any experience with one of these brands or with a mulcher (not a flail, or mower) of any brand / size on a 331 bobcat? Thanks for the help.

I doubt a 331 would have the power for a forestry mulcher. I have an EX-30 flail for my 331 that I got from Skid Steer solutions. It is fantastic for anything under 2in in diameter. It it's a bigger tree, I can usually lift the arm to remove the top of the tree and chip up the branches with the flail. Then I lower it on the main trunk until it just slows down too much. At that point I put the bucket back on and rip it out by the roots.
