I do not ever remember anyone ever talking about theirs, or cleaning it
I am at 305 hours so I decided maybe it should be looked at
The book calls for two people to do it, and since I am single the Safety Police will probably arrest me now.....:D

In any case I doubt I had a tenth of a gram exit the drain port.
I wonder if that is normal?
:confused3:

:confused3: Me too, book says every 100 hours, doubting mine ever been opened with close to 1400 hours.

The low PM in you mufflers is due to you using good fuel, oil and running the engine at a reasonable high RPM. Its passively cleaning its self.

I tried to clean mine but the bolt was on so tight I thought that the whole exhaust was going to break off. I let it go another 50 hours and tried again this time with it as warm as possible after running. I finally got it removed and found nothing to clean also.

Mine has a square headed plug, I took it out cold, it really didn't want to come out and moaned and groaned the whole way out.
I need to get some antisleaze and put it on it

Interesting they suggest every hundred hours and only enough comes out to slick up your fingers
