MTD Snowblower

I have noticed on this site and a couple of other sites the reference of an MTD snowblower on a Cub Cadet. Is there a MTD blower that is offered for a Cub 2500 series tractor or are these retrofitted to work on the Cub?

MTD owns Cub Cadet... So, a Cub snowblower is MTD. You'll probably pay more for a cub cadet branded snowblower, but the MTD blower "may" be the same for less. It all depends on year/model/etc. I can't help with your specific question, but it may explain why you hear about MTD parts on cub cadet tractors.

There is no generic MTD lawn/garden tractor snowblower attachment that will fit a 2500 series Cub Cadet garden tractor. You have to get a 2500 series snowblower. Your other option is > Snowblower for lawn and garden tractors and snowthrower for snow removal but you're going to pay what you'd pay at a CC dealer.
