MTD 42" snow thrower attachment undercarriage assembly

I'm new to the website, so I hope I'm in the right subsection.

I purchased a used MTD 42" snow thrower attachment for my Cub Cadet LTX 1045. When I went to put it on, I realized I needed an undercarriage assembly which I didn't get when I purchased it. I've gotten in touch with the previous owner who will look when he gets the chance.

I'm wondering if the Craftsman 42" snow thrower attachment undercarriage assemblies are compatible with the MTD versions.

Also wondering if there is anyone out there with a spare undercarriage assembly that would be willing to part with it for a reasonable price if the previous owner falls through.

Welcome. Hopefully your guy comes through with it. For the Craftsman to work, it would obviously need to be the right version of the chassis. 247. is the start of MTD built Craftsman products BTW. I would maybe start by looking for what compares to the OEM # of the one you have.
