MT180H Hydrostatic Transmission

I have a MT180H, that all of a sudden it won't go forward or backward. I have eliminated the foot throttle as the problem and am now wondering if anybody out there has repaired this problem and could give me an idea of what I'm up against. Or how much will it cost to take it somewhere to repair the hydrostatic transmission. Thanks.

Are you able to switch into gears(forward/reverse)?

Ive never seen or heard of the 180H.. have any pictures or specs?

I need to know more about how the problem began to help diagnose it , but the first place to check is the sub-shift (hi-lo) lever. Is it engaging or is it just flopping forward and back? How about the fluid level and when was the last time the filter was changed? Call 800-609-5110 for help in troubleshooting the problem or email vppinc@rev.net. Bill Rodgers

The hi-lo range shifter doesn't move and stays in place when shifted to the range, in other words it appears fine & dandy. I tried putting it in high & low. I was just mowing went to back up and creeped backwards, but would not go forward it, the pedal just wouldn't move when I pushed down to go forward. I did notice the pedal was getting a little sticky, I would have to use a little more force about every 15th time I went backwards to forwards.
The MT-180H as I've been told it just like the MT-180 except for the Hydrostatic transmission, and lacking about 3 HP from the normal shift tractors.
I appreciate the help, cause I love the thing to death.
