I noticed that something was not normal with the switch. I thought when you get off the seat when the tractor was running and the brake is not set, the engine is supposed to shut off. It did a few time and a few times it didn’t. A few days ago when the tractor was running as soon as It started to move, it would cut off. I knew right off that the seat safety switch was the culprit. I flipped the seat up and noticed that the wiring to the switch was crushed. I have a backhoe on mine so the seat raises and rotates. I believe the wiring, will get crushed If you don’t ensure it feeds back into the hole when moving the seat into its lower position. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturing issue, but keep an eye on the wiring. I have the wire jumped right now until a new switch comes in.
