Mr Funnel

Buy the medium size. I bought the small and when filling at the diesel pump the flow rate is a little slow. I have to be careful not to overflow the funnel.

So far I have not caught any trash or water where I fill up but if I ever do I am confident it will work as advertised.

I keep 3 of the 2 1/2 gallon plastic cans of fuel and am concerned that over the long haul they may get some condensation or trash in them so the Mr Funnel should take care of that issue if it happens.

Hey, this is a slick product. Pete, which one do you have, conductive or non-conductive ? I would think the non-conductive one is the way to go but not sure if you get the same filtration. Also seems strange that the non-conductive one is cheaper by 4 bucks.

I have the non-conductive. I gather that the conductive one is a safety measure for airplanes and boats, in that the conductive material can't build up a static charge that could possibly make a spark. My guess only, since I'm neither a pilot nor a boater, but I deem that risk on my tractor to be small to negligible.

For the other poster, I bought mine online direct from the manufacturer since the local Home Depot did not carry them.

Thanks Pete. Your right of course regarding the static charge build up. I had it backwards. With conductive no charge will build as it will be taken to ground potential. Geeee.....I should have known that. Duhhhh, /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

After reading some comments about ordering Mr Funnel from the website, I won't. Can't find it locally.

How about it Mr. F? A way to buy over the internet, and not get ripped off?

I just ordered mine from ebay (yesterday) the guy said he was a dealer $24.70 total. I got the F3NC. I have not received it yet but the feedback 100% positive. I did not see a way to order the funnel I wanted on the Mr. Funnel's website and I did not find any dealers on the web I wanted to deal with.
