I have a Mahindra mpower 85 tier four tractor that I recently changed the fuel filter on and sence doing it the filter leaks around the fuel sensor on the bottom. I tried tighting it but it still leaks. Does anyone know if their is suppose to be a washer where the fuel sensor screws on.

Thanks Richard

You have to reuse the washer... it is stuck on bottom of your old filter. dosnt look like it but I guarantee you it is... if you have already thrown it away you have to buy the whole sensor to get the new washer... bout $175 I think... go to an ace or sometype of hardware store and get a rubber washer for a shower head... take the water sensor with you so you can match it up... they are like .30cents I got a mess load of them here for sale at the shop for that very reason

the 3016 also has a small o-ring on the top of the filter element which is real easy to overlook or let fall on the floor while taking the filter out. I wonder how many people lose them. At $175 to get it from Mahindra, there's a pretty good business going there.
