MPG-CAPS Fuel Additive?

My brother asked me what I knew about this fuel additive from Fuel Freedom International:

"MPG-CAPS™ is a 100% organic engine conditioner that simultaneously improves fuel economy and power by creating a micro-thin coating on the combustion chamber in your engine allowing your fuel to burn more efficiently."

I had never heard of it. Went to the FFI web site. http://mcnabb.myffi.biz/en/section_100.asp

Apparently it is a MLM product. Anyone have any experience with this product? Good, bad, ???

This link disputes the mpg-cap claims, as well as other "magic" fuel-saving additives. Personally I wouldn't waste my money on the stuff.

One point I always wonder about is how a single individual can somehow find the "miraculous" solution to gas mileage (or any other "problem") while multi-billion dollar companies after decades of research somehow miss this technique or substance. This is true in the so-called "hidden" cancer cures and "supplements", business & "money making" offers and many such things.

The reviewer on the linked page raised all of the relevant points and issues. Still, there will be many people who "get on board" for these kinds of products. After the run-up and frenzy period, and a few people make a killing, they all seem to vanish into thin air.

They don't disappear. You just can't get past the guard at the gate of the new beach house in Hawaii that they just bought from selling the MiracleMPGMachine.
