Not sure the best forum to post here, 'attachments', 'customization', 'hydraulics'. Anyway, I want one and want what they mow with it ....incredible!

Its water under the bridge but;


For that amount of aggravation and wasted money I would purchase
a 30 foot wide European high horsepower folding flail mower with side slicer knives or
a 25 foot wide Hiniker crop shredder that can mow down to 2 inches
in height as I would be money ahead. I could purchase a towed runway magnet,
heavy land roller, a large core aerator for good sod and a Brillion P.T.O.,
powered grass seeder with the money I saved.

I haven't seen a flail mower that can leave the kind of finish they will be achieving with this set-up. This turf is not unlike the green on a golf course, in fact, I read somewhere that's what they are going to for the entire 7000' runway. They have a huge RC Model event where the aircraft land on this turf.

I know in a perfect world, flail mowers would be the answer to everyone's needs. I appreciate this guy's industriousness, can't wait to see it in action next week.
