mower deck question

I bought a used cub cadet 2165 tractor and just noticed in the mower manual that it shows a strap running across the bottom of the discharge chute opening. The manual identifies it as a "finger guard", but it appears a major function of it is to ride on the grass and support the deck over high spots and in turns so the blade won't scalp the grass. This piece is missing from my deck. From the pictures it appears to be a pressed piece with a reinforcement ridge in it. Since it is welded on the deck, I'm wondering if it is available from CC or do I have to fabricate one?

I would imagine you will end up fabricating one. My father bought a used tractor that the previous owner cut it off because it kept clogging up in heavy, wet grass. I like the bar because I can use it to skate the deck over an obstacle.
